What is DELF/DALF?
DELF (Diplômed'Étudesen Langue Française) and DALF (DiplômeApprofondi de Langue Française) are official diplomas awarded by the French Ministry of Education to certify the French-language skills of non-native speakers. They are internationally recognized and valid for life.
🧭 These diplomas are crucial for:
• Admission into French universities (B2 level)
• Application for French citizenship (B1 level)
• Application for French citizenship (B1 level)
There are 6 independent levels based on the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages):
A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2
Each exam evaluates four skills:
📖 Reading | 🗣️ Speaking | ✍️ Writing | 🎧 Listening
A minimum score of 50/100 is required to earn the diploma.
🎓Results Timeline:
• Certificate issued within 1 month after the exam
• Official diploma available 3 months later
